The Iowa Pioneers List (IPL) is a compilation of settlers obtained from two sources:
Those contributed directly from netters doing genealogical and historical research, and
Those assembled from the files of the Iowa Genealogical Society (IGS),
the owners of this web site..
If you attempt to contact a submitter and your email bounces back to you, please contact
the submitter using his or her US postal address (if available). If you
find bad email or snail mail addresses, please notify the webmaster
(email link below), indicating the
web page URL, the contact name, and what is no longer a valid address.
We no longer take updates from Internet
users. We will, however, add information from the pioneer files of the
IGS. Eventually, we hope to have all pioneer files included at this web
site.
